Visitors have a wide choice of routes with rambles around Sheephaven Bay, marked trails in Ards Forest Park and Glenveagh National Park (pictured above) and longer routes such as the nine-mile walk around Horn Head and the eight-mile walk to Tramore Beach. Respect natureDublin Mountains Partnership's summer awareness hikes begin tomorrow with the first walk starting from Tibradden at midday. It will last about three hours. The purpose is to engender a more responsible approach to the great outdoors and, in particular, to Ireland's delicate environment.
